ABOUT THE W&V FESTIVAL

For the second consecutive year, Bel Canto has proudly presented the Wine & Vine Festival, an event that brings together friends, affiliates, and patrons. While many are familiar with Bel Canto's reputation as a Lounge and Performance Venue, during this occasion, we gather to celebrate its role as a Winery. Collaborating with numerous friends and affiliates, we are excited to offer an afternoon filled with exceptional music, delectable cuisine, an array of beverages, captivating games that will challenge you, and a wealth of memorable experiences that will linger until we meet again!

FAQ

is there a syncshell?

Nope! For the ease and comfort of friends and guests we will not be maintaining any sort of public syncshell.

do i need actual gil to participate?

No actual gil is needed to participate in anything — especially not to "buy" items from our bar/shoppe! This is an RP experience and we are all quite good at playing pretend. Enjoy the games, enjoy the experience!

what is with yell and shout?

We ask that for the extent of the event that /yell and /shout channels be left open to the event runners to relay information and showcase the performances we have lined up for you! We understand that having conversation from so many channels can be overwhelming at times, and HIGHLY reccommend making separate tabs for RP and OOC chatter!

can i bring my weapon with me?

This is a low-stakes event on grounds that are consistently monitored by Maelstrom and private security. You can leave the greatsword at home! Don't worry we have enough dull carving knives for everyone :)

what if i just want to observe?

You are absolutely welcome to! In the likely event someone was to approach you we would advise putting yourself on busy to let people know that you're just here to watch and hang out! We also have our Cafe seating open for anyone who wants to step away for a breather!

TUG O'WINE: THE GRAPES OF WRATH

Two people enter, one person leaves with severely stained clothing. Step into the pit and get ready to crush your opponent and some grapes in this game of Tug-o-War with a fruity twist! Two opponents will roll off 3 times, and the best of those 3 is declared the victor!

BEEBOO'S REVENGE

Beeboo V is back and here to spin his displeasure into spinning you the fuck off. Same as last year, you must survive all three rounds of Beeboo's bucking violence to win. Lose your grip even once and thats it.Affixed with a saddle, and cowboy hat the stereo system of the Stills joins Martin at this years Wine Festival once more.To win, you simply have to roll higher than Martin three time. Good luck.

No true festival would be complete without a delectable spread of food and beverages. Make sure to pay a visit to our selection of delectable harvesttime treats and libations, thoughtfully curated by both local vendors and Bel Canto's esteemed affiliates. You can choose to savor your meal on the lawn or take it with you; either way, you won't leave hungry!

A far cry from smashing, this year we have decided to encourage more creative endeavors. Carve out your own keepsake, just in time for All Saints fun! Just remember: the decorations are for the pumpkins only! Once you're finished feel free to leave them in the patch with their friends until you're ready to take your new spooooky creation home!

How low can you go? Depending on your height, not very. However, even the shortest of folks have trouble with flexibility these days.Each game consists of four rounds where each player must overcome one of the greatest enemies known to man: RNG. /random to roll below each number, and you may emerge victorious with your spine in one piece!

Round 1: Roll under 900
Round 2: Roll under 700
Round 3: Roll under 500
Round 4: Roll under 300

FACE PAINTIN'

Take a moment to sit and enjoy La Noscea's temperate Autumn while you sit and enjoy the gentle delight of having your face painted. Whomstever said this was an activity only for children has never had a really pretty butterfly or bat skillfully applied to their cheek. Once you're done, do be sure to show it off!

"THE GODESS OF WINE & HARVEST"

Gracefully meandering through the enchanting Canto estate is the embodiment of the wine and harvest goddess herself. Adorned in her resplendent Nophican attire, do take a moment to capture a photograph or engage in delightful conversation with her. How might you go about earning her favor?

Performances will begin at ~7:15P ET and will last until the end of the night.

Haunted legends and folklore exist across the Star among all cultures and peoples. Stay awhile and listen to one dredged up from the Mist's past - full of the things that make La Noscea its own. Seawater, blood, and maybe just a little bit of wine.
